 Our TeamAlbert Koong, MD PhDCEO Albert grew up in Southern California, and graduated from Stanford University for undergraduate and PhD degrees, and Northwestern University for his MD. He was at Stanford for ~20 years, and was then recruited to become the Division Head of Radiation Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center. He was honored to have been able to be part of Sue’s treatment team throughout her long years as a cancer warrior. He is now honored to have been chosen by Sue to continue her legacy as the Founder and driving force behind the My Blue Dots charitable organization. He will uphold the MBD mantra of continued support to the Stanford Radiation Oncology department, both within the research and clinical arenas. Jenny Hua, MDSecretary/Treasurer Jenny was touched to be asked by Sue to continue the operational workings of MBD. She is a graduate of Brown University’s PLME program, and was in private practice for 20+ years. Sue McCollumFounder A graduate of the University of Michigan, Sue McCollum writes two Newsletters on line each month, Through My Lens is life as seen through her lens, and the My Blue Dots Newsletter is current news about My Blue Dots. She has also written eight books. Sue was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1999 and completed her treatments at Stanford University Medical Center. Her first book, Moving On (before and after cancer) is her journal of her journey through her cancer experience. To honor her parents Marion and Don Howell, who both died of cancer, Sue established an endowed fund at Stanford University Medical Center for cancer research in 2002. The Stanford University/Sue McCollum Blue Dot Fund has funded Dr. Albert Koong and his research at Stanford. To continue to support his cancer research and cancer research and programs across the country, the My Blue Dots non-profit fund was established in 2006 (tax ID #20-5469956). David RutanSupport David is a computer support specialist of over 23 years and has been working with My Blue Dots with the website maintenance, finances, and other miscellaneous tasks. Jackie AndradeTax Professional Jackie works with Eigleberry Tax Service in Gilroy. David McCollumFinancial Advisor David holds our LPL investments and helps optimize their growth. |
